I got out today to work on my photography class assignment. There is a state park just outside town that I’ve wanted to check out. There is a lake there and a campground. One of the most interesting features is a big red round barn. It was fun to walk around, even though it was still a bit chilly. On the way back to town, I thought I’d drive down a couple of back roads. I ended up getting stuck in a ditch when I was pulling over to get a few more pictures. Fortunately, a very nice couple came along in a truck and pulled me out. Since I wasn’t exactly sure where I was, it would have been interesting trying to explain to a tow truck driver where to find me. Had to laugh about it once I was back on the road again.

Here are a few of the pictures I got today. My camera has a bunch of features I didn’t know about (helps to read the manual) so I’m really just learning how to use it.

  • No, these aren't all the books Obama has written. Although he certainly has an ego to have written as many as he has so far considering he's not really accomplished much. This is a list of the books that inspired him. There is a bookstore that has put up a display and I think it may be interesting to do something similar. Anything to get people to read. Well, maybe not anything…

  • …and placecards. These are really beautiful an simply designed invitations. If I ever through a party, this would be the style of invite I'd choose. And they're FREE downloads.
  • More sweet printable downloads that I had to share. Here you will find a wonderful collection of tags.
  • Did you have a sticker book when you were a kid? I did! I loved collecting stickers of all sorts. As an adult, my tastes have matured somewhat, but I still get excited about stickers. And these stickers are worth getting gleeful over. Put some of the sticker sheet printing paper and have a blast.

  • I don't use bookplates in the books I own because I don't always keep them. But I might just have to start after seeing these lovely designs. Wonderful FREE printables.
