The Lincoln Display has been up for a few weeks, but I finally got a picture of it. I still need to add some books. On the other side of the pillar where this one is located will be a display about the Lincoln-Douglas debates.

Next week is Banned Books Week. I just got this display up last night while I was working. Evenings are really a good time to do this sort of thing.

It was a perfect Saturday afternoon for a football game. LittleU won the game. Yay!

These are the few pictures I got before they made an announcement that if you didn’t have permission to take pictures (which I didn’t), you’d be thrown out of the market. And I could not have that happen! *laugh*

PS to the Dishpaw Raggers – The box is now enroute to MT. Yay!

I love the native stone buildings that you see throughout the Flint Hills. This schoolhouse is on Tuttle Creek Boulevard, which we usually drive to go into town.

…is a great used bookstore, The Dusty Bookshelf. It’s dangerous to go in there because I usually come out with a stack of books. But yesterday I was good and only bought an Edward Gorey postcard.

Along the way

These are things that I see on my drive home. Just thought I’d share.

Well, it wasn’t really across campus. Too hot for that today. But I did take a few minutes to enjoy Washburn and take some pictures.
