Thanks to someone’s wonderful idea on Friendfeed, I’m collecting donations to send to Kiva to support one of the projects. Kiva gives loans (provided by people like you and me) to entrepreneurs around the world. These are ordinary people just trying to make a living in conditions that most of us can’t even imagine. I’ve selected three projects that were particularly interesting. Please vote on the project you like best by leaving a comment. I will leave the Paypal button up until October 31. At that point, I’ll send in all the money raised to the project with the most votes.
