The Lincoln Display has been up for a few weeks, but I finally got a picture of it. I still need to add some books. On the other side of the pillar where this one is located will be a display about the Lincoln-Douglas debates.

I love the native stone buildings that you see throughout the Flint Hills. This schoolhouse is on Tuttle Creek Boulevard, which we usually drive to go into town.

…is a great used bookstore, The Dusty Bookshelf. It’s dangerous to go in there because I usually come out with a stack of books. But yesterday I was good and only bought an Edward Gorey postcard.

We originally planned to go to the Eisenhower Center in Abilene today, but when we got to the town, we changed our mind and visited the Greyhound Hall of Fame instead. They have two resident retired racers, The Talented Mr. Ripley and Abbey.

Just finished this little monster tonight. He’ll be on his way to IL tomorrow to his new home.
