I finished my turkey the past weekend. It was a fairly simple pattern and went along quickly. I’m very happy with how it turned out and look forward to enjoying it on my little sofa in LittleUtown.

Maddie went to the vet yesterday and had her sarcoma removed. It’ll be a week before we know the status of her alien being. Hoping it’s not one of the maligned ones. But she was her usual charming self and had everyone at the center wrapped around her little paws. Poor [...]

My dog nephew (yes, we’re one of those weird families who consider our animals as part of the family) tends to groan as he lays down. Almost like all the tension goes out of him as relaxes and he has to vocalize it.

We originally planned to go to the Eisenhower Center in Abilene today, but when we got to the town, we changed our mind and visited the Greyhound Hall of Fame instead. They have two resident retired racers, The Talented Mr. Ripley and Abbey.
