Aftermath

Our holiday celebrating is basically over. We are still visiting with family and maybe a friend of DH.
It was a really nice Christmas. We received great presents, among them a George Foreman grill, a recharageable massager (which DH already used on my knotty shoulders), a couple of gift cards, tasty food items, a pretty tote bag, and a fun lab poster.
The best part, as usual, was just hanging with family, including the various pets. It’s good to slow down, catch up, and be together.
DH will probably head back to KS Tuesday sometime. After he leaves, I’ll be doing laundry, cleaning my apartment, and generally getting settled back in. I’m planning to hang out with the SnB group on New Year’s Eve at one of the women’s home.
Friday, I’ll head back to work.
